The Copper Club was one of the first chartered clubs established by the Recreation Centers of Sun City West in 1979 with the inspiration and guidance of Jean and Jack Brady. Under their tutelage in 1982, the members created the two artistic murals which grace the front facade of the Beardsley Recreation Center. The core members also created the mural which is mounted in the reception area of Del Webb Hospital. It is the desire of the club to give greater recognition to the art of copper enameling, an art form practiced for thousands of years, and a forum in the teaching and practice of this old art form. We are pleased to be the largest Copper Enameling Club in the USA with over 100 members. Visitors are invited to view examples of finished work and talk with members in the studio at Beardsley Rec Center from 9am to 2pm, Monday through Friday.
