| The SCW Beaders Club was chartered on October 25, 2004 and is dedicated to the enjoyment of beadwork. Our objective is to enjoy our time together creating, socializing, beading, studying, educating, learning, discussing and sharing our interests in beads, beadwork and bead related subjects. We bead and string on Mondays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesdays from 10:00AM to 4:00 PM at Beardsley Recreation Center, 12755 Beardsley Road in Multipurpose Room 5 ("Club Room"). Classes are held in Room 6. Want to Join? Come to the Beardsley Rec Center, Room 5 on either Monday evening or Wednesday to sign up. You must show a current Rec card in your name. Dues are currently $10 per year. In 2010, a one time $3 charge will be added for badges. Dues are collected from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31. . Pay by check only-made out to SCW Beaders. Our club year runs from Jan 1 to Dec. 31. Beginner classes are usually held at the beginning of each month but check "Classes" above. Click on the Basic & Project Supply List above for what to bring and where we get discounts. Most classes are free. However, classes with Instruction or Kit Fees must be paid for by a check made payable to the teacher when you sign up. Give the check to the monitor to hold until your class. Please see "Classes" or "News" for further information. Monitoring is necessary for any club to stay open. We are currently asking each member to monitor two (2) three hour shifts for the year. You may combine the shifts in any combination. It's easy and its fun.
