The club provides members with a room full of state-of-the-art equipment — Baby Lock and Bernina sewing machines, Juki sergers, and Brother embroidery machines, as well as a multitude of other sewing aids. The club schedules activities such as bus trips to sewing craft shows and shopping meccas, a fashion show, and participation in craft fairs where we can display our handiwork. Beginners find instruction in classes and can observe more experienced members, while accomplished seamstresses hone their skills with specialized classes. Other members combine their love of sewing with public service by sewing clothing for homeless children and making quilts for those in need. | | | |
